PUSHPA DAY CELEBRATION

The celebration of Pushpa Day took place on 4th of October, 2025 in which all the students and teachers actively took part with full enthusiasm in different programs.

To make the program more memorable one, the Principal, teachers and students invited the Principal and teachers from St. Agnes’ Loreto Day School and Jagriti Loreto Vidyalaya and the retired teachers of our school.

The day started with a small prayer service in which the little flower girls of class K. G lead the procession in honour to the patron of our school “St. Pushpa”. The students of class 8,9,10 performed a prayer dance which was followed by Bible reading and bhajan. The senior students also depicted a small drama on the life of St. Pushpa in which two of our students depicted the poem with actions which was written by Miss Aparna James. The prayer service was brought to an end by praying for everyone and for the further program.

Then after, the junior students organised cultural program to make the day enjoyable one. The students took songs of different states to perform on them.

BOYS :- The boys dressed up like rajastganis and  performed a dance on Rajasthan music.

CLASS 1&2 :- The little desi girls of class 1&2 dressed up like jharkhandi peoples and performed on nagpuri song.

CLASS 3&4 :- The punjabi kudis of class 3&4 dressed like punjabis and performed on punjabi musis.

CLASS 5&6 :- The girls of class 5&6 dressed as tamil girls and performed on tamil songs.

The program was brought to an end with a vote of thanks after which everybody had lunch.
