The NCC Basketball Selection Trials were successfully organised on 28th August 2025 by the 19 UP Girls’ Battalion under the able leadership and guidance of Commanding Officer Col (Dr) Dinesh Kumar Pathak. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of both SW and JW cadets from various colleges under the 19, 20, 63, 64, and 67 Battalions.

The trials were hosted at St. Agnes’ Loreto Day School, providing an excellent platform for showcasing sporting talent and discipline. The entire selection process was meticulously conducted and efficiently managed by Lt (Dr) Sarita Singh and Mr. R.C Cherubin. On this occasion, Hav Rudra Sahu, Ms. Shalini, GCI and CTO Bhavya Singh were also present and contributed to the smooth conduct of the event.

The cadets selected through these trials will have the honor of representing the Lucknow Group NCC in upcoming basketball competitions, reflecting the spirit of teamwork, dedication, and excellence nurtured by the NCC.
