Education is not an act of acquiring knowledge but learning a skill to lead life and forming one's personality. At St. Agnes’ Loreto we lay emphasis on value based education where we endeavour to equip our girls with not only the skills but also the necessary values to face the challenges of life. We strongly believe in the maxim of our founder, Mary Ward,’ Women in time to come will do much” We make every effort to instill in our girls compassion and sensitivity for the marginalized section of the society so that they go out into the world as agents of social change. We ensure that our girls richly enjoy their academic journey in a happy and congenial atmosphere. This ethos of the school can be sensed by any visitor who steps into its premises. The warmth and personal care provided to each child exudes from every corner. We motivate each student to excel to the best of her potential. This teaching- learning environment would not have thrived if it wasn’t for the unflinching support of our parents and well wishers.

It is with immense pride and gratitude I can say that almost everything we enjoy today is the bond, the connection mainly the homely and friendly atmosphere created by those who have been, and those who are still a part of St Agnes’ Loreto day School our dear Teachers, Staff, Students, Parents, and Benefactors. Together we form the St Agnes’ Loreto Family working for the betterment of our world through the education of girls. “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world”, and so we pray that as each generation of students leave the portals of Agnesian Loreto, they will be “conscious of their dignity” and prove to be “true and great, in the home and in the State as we sing in our school Anthem.

Loreto Education encompasses and continues its endeavour towards providing holistic and quality education by infusing each and every student with the zeal to be passionate about learning as well as to be engaged and inspired. We want every student to be nurtured into strong, reflective and responsive individual who are confident and adaptable in meeting the challenges and opportunities of this rapidly changing world. We want our pupils to develop valuable life skills and become more independent, resilient and confident individuals who are able to come out of their comfort zones and deal confidently with any uncertainties or challenges that may confront them in the future.
