A Poster Making Activity on the theme “Pledge on Kindness to Animals” was conducted on 6th October, 2025, by the students of Class Prep, of St. Agnes’ Loreto Day School, to help children understand the importance of being kind and caring towards animals. Each child brought an A4 sheet of any colour, a picture of their favourite animal, along with crayons, fevicol and pencils. The teacher began the session by explaining the meaning of kindness and discussed simple ways in which one can show love and care towards animals. The children enthusiastically pasted the picture of their chosen animal on the sheet and wrote a short pledge on kindness — such as “I will feed hungry animals” or “I will never hurt any animal.” The activity helped the students express their feelings towards animals, creatively and encouraged them to develop compassion, empathy, and responsibility for all living beings.
