Description:
“If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans.”
-James Herriot
On April 11th, 2024, the spirit of compassion and creativity soared at our school as our thoughtful Class 5 students commemorated National Pet Day in a heartwarming manner. With nimble fingers and boundless enthusiasm, they crafted cozy mats for our beloved street dogs using small pieces of cloth. These colourful mats not only showcase their talent but also demonstrate their deep affection for our furry friends.
Through this act of kindness the students of St. Agnes's Loreto Day School of class 5 had participated in the JPIC activity which was conducted on 11 th April on the occassion of National Pet Day, exemplifying the importance of empathy and caring for all creatures, great and small. Their dedication to making the world a warmer place for animals is truly inspiring and reminds us of the profound joy that comes from giving back to our faithful companions. The children gained a lot and participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in making the mats.
