St. Agnes’ Loreto Day School commemorated the 79th Independence Day on 15th August with great pride and patriotic spirit. The celebration began with an impressive march past by the school houses, reflecting discipline, unity, and coordination.

This year, the occasion was made especially meaningful by the presence of Mr. Babu, the school’s senior-most support staff member, who was honoured as the chief guest. His dedicated service, of 28 years, was warmly acknowledged by both staff and students.

A highlight of the programme was a powerful drama performance by the students of Class 10, portraying significant moments from India’s freedom struggle. Their stirring enactment paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices of our national heroes.

The celebration concluded with the inspiring words of the Principal, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of patriotism and gratitude.
