Description:
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a cleanliness mission run by the Government of India.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is also called Swachh Bharat Mission and Clean India Campaign. It was started on 2nd October 2014 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. It was launched by the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.
This campaign is India's largest cleanliness campaign and the motive of this campaign is to clean the streets, buildings, public places and villages of India. The campaign always makes people aware of the importance of cleanliness.
Keeping this in mind the Junior Section of St Agnes' Loreto Day School participated in various activities with full zeal and enthusiasm.
NURSERY- The tiny tots of class Nursery were made to clean their classrooms.
All the children were told to bring a cloth for cleaning purpose. With great zest and zeal every child cleaned their tables, doors and cupboards, while others picked up wrappers lying on the floor and threw them into the dustbin.
The main purpose of this activity was to create awareness among the children regarding cleanliness.
