NCC ACTIVITIES
“Women in time to come will do much.”- Mary Ward
With courageous efforts and dauntless will, the NCC cadets of St. Agnes’ Loreto Day School stood true to the belief of their foundress, Mary Ward, by stepping out of their comfort zones even in these challenging times and participating in a series of activities organized by the 19 UP Girls Battalion, Jiamua.
Our NCC cadets celebrated the International Yoga Day with an unparalleled fervor, on the 21st of June, 2021, by performing yoga at their homes, in a time when the whole nation was bearing the brunt of this pandemic. With a rifle shooting competition which was held on the 15th of July, 2021, two of our cadets got a platform to exhibit their shooting skills, one of whom qualified the first round. On the 18th of July, 2021, our NCC cadets demonstrated their relentless determination by taking part in a plantation drive that had been organized in the rainy season to inspire a positive change in our society.
It truly was an extraordinary experience for the cadets of our school where they got a wonderful opportunity to rise above their fears and acquire confidence by taking part in such stimulating and refreshing activities.
